Trading Strategy Overview
Expert MoonDog EA combines five independent XAUUSD breakout modules—Moon Nova, Moon Apex, Moon Zenith, Moon Pulse, and Moon Eclipse—inside one automated trading system. Each module monitors different breakout and price-expansion conditions while operating from a single Gold chart.
When an eligible setup appears, the EA can place a Buy Stop or Sell Stop pending order on the broker’s server. Every order is prepared with an individual Stop Loss and Take Profit, giving each position its own defined risk and exit structure.
MoonDog does not increase position size because a previous trade lost. It does not use Martingale, recovery grids, loss-recovery baskets, or averaging down. Lot sizes can change only according to the selected fixed-lot, percentage-risk, balance-growth, or adaptive sizing configuration.
The MoonLock system monitors a position’s peak profit after its activation threshold is reached. If the market pulls back, it can request closure according to the selected protection percentage. Break-even and trailing-stop functions provide additional options for managing favorable market movement.
An optional news filter can pause new entries and remove pending orders around selected high-impact economic events. Fake-breakout, spread, trading-time, weekend, daily-loss, and prop-firm protection settings can also be configured according to the trader’s requirements.
